R S Vimal paints a beautiful love story based on a real life incident that happened in the 1960-1980 period in Mukkam in Kozhikode district, in his movie ‘Ennu Ninte Moideen’. Moideen (Prithviraj) and Kanchanamala (Parvathy) becomes one in love in their heart; but they are not able to unite in marriage due to societal barricades. They belong to varied casts and backgrounds which force them to get separated. The heart rendering story of the Muslim youth Moideen and the Hindu girl Kanchana whose love becomes an issue first in their family and later in their society is filmed in the backdrop of Calicut by R S Vimal in ‘Ennu Ninte Moideen’. Jomon T John is the cinematographer. The lines by Rafeeq Ahmed are tuned by M Jayachandran and Ramesh Narayanan. Lal, Bala, Tovino Thomas, Sreejith Ravi, Saikumar, Sashikumar, Sudheesh, Sivaji Guruvayoor, Sashi Kalinga, Subheesh, Lena, Vaiga, Sija Rose, Devi Ajith, Surabhi, Kalaranjini, Swathi, Sneha Raj, Silpa Raj, Amir Salman, Kozhikode Ramadevi also include the cast of ‘Ennu Ninte Moideen’.
